Andy is the original percussionist for the Broadway smash hit "Wicked." Before "Wicked" Andy was a composer & percussionist based in Chicago for the 12 years. In that time he has played for 11 Jeff Award-winning productions. At the Goodman Theatre, Andy has performed The House of Martin Guerre, A Little Night Music, and the Studio production of Wings as well as its subsequent production at the Joseph Papp Public Theater in New York.

He worked on Yale Reperatory Theatre’s Pre-Broadway workshop of Triumph of Love. Andy wrote an original percussion score to the 1997 ASCAP award winning musical 90 North by Dan Sticco, and performed for its staged reading at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. His National Tours include CATS, Into The Woods ,and the Celebrity AIDS benefit, Heartstrings, where he performed with various artists, among them Nell Carter, Patti LuPone, and Joel Grey.

His European Tours include Chicago, Cabaret, and On The Town. Andy played Blade to the Heat and Assassins at the Apple Tree Theatre. Other local credits include Sunday in the Park with George, Evelyn and The Polka King, and the Chicago premiere of Falsettoland.

Groups he has performed with include the Dirty Little Motors, Wierd Sisters, the Steph Rogers Trio, The Nubile Thangs!, and Urban Twist. At DePaul University he studied with Mike Green (Chicago Lyric Opera, Grant Park Symphony), Jim Ross and Al Payson (Chicago Symphony Orchestra), and Joel Spencer (Cedar Walton, McCoy Tyner). While at DePaul, toured with the University Wind Ensemble to Poland & The Soviet Union as an exchange with students of the Moscow Conservatory. He has also performed with the Michigan Youth Symphony, Siena Heights College Jazz Ensemble, and DPU Jazz Combos. Andy has also taught Percussion and Jazz Band at The Chicago Academy for the Arts.
