"SONGSATION" TV SHOW APPEARANCE

I performed at a taping for this local television show a few months back, and they just let me know that my performance will be airing as part of this Sunday's show.

You can catch me performing one of my songs solo acoustic on Channel 19 (if you have Chicago city cable) this Sunday (3/25) at 9 pm. If you miss it, don't fret: they'll rebroadcast the episode the next day (3/26) at 4 pm.

VALENTINE'S DAY SHOW

The Valentine's Day show was amazingly good considering it was about 2 weeks from conception to stage. Dag Juhlin, Naomi Ashley, Darren Stephens and of course the hostesses, The Weird Sisters were all fantastic. The theatrical part of the show was incredible. Had they (the actors/directors) more time to prepare, we could have taken the show on the road.

NEOFUTURISTS BENEFIT

If you missed 30 Bands in 60 minutes at the Metro last month, you missed one of the most unique, diverse and entertaining shows I've ever seen, not to mention performed in. Some of Chicago's most celebrated bands and performers (Ralph covert, Frisbie, The Slugs, Ellen Rosner..) shared the stage with some of Chicago's greatest kept secrets. DON'T MISS THIS SHOW NEXT YEAR. Trust me.

WEST VIRGINIA

What's going on in West Virginia? The statistic server on my web site indicates that I get about 300 visits a month from the state. This has been the case for several months now. I guess I owe thanks to WWVU at West Virginia University and WVBC for their support and air play, but I've never been there, so I'm not sure the deal. If you're from WV and have any insight on the matter, please let me know. (select Email Matt from Menu bar)

Please check out the LINKS page if you'd like to discover some other bands/artists that I think are pretty amazing. Over.
