Meet Tommi Zender

Multi-instrumentalist Tommi Zender is from Evanston, Illinois and he spent a large portion of his youth in Phoenix, Arizona. Tommi's primary instrument is guitar, but he also sings and plays drums, percussion, keyboards, bass, and is known for taking a risk with just about any other noise-making device you can think of.

Zender attended and taught at Columbia College in the music program 1989-1995. He released his first record on the Hear Diagonally label in 1999 under the project name Trinkets of Joy, titled "Just Like Mom Used to Make". It was recorded entirely on 4 track at home.

He has been listening to, writing, arranging, performing and collaborating on many types of music since he was "knee-high to a grasshopper".

Tommi's 2005 release "Will Work For Harmony" is available now.
